“I welcome the news from my colleague in Government, Minister for
Education Richard Bruton T.D., that Duleek Girls’ National School is
to be provided with an ASD Unit. I congratulate the Principal,
voluntary Board of Management, staff and parents for their hard work
on behalf of the girls of Duleek and the surrounding area” Helen
McEntee, Fine Gael T.D. for Meath East has stated.
Deputy McEntee also highlighted the recent provision of a classroom to
Scoil Mhuire N.S., Heronstown, Lobinstown.
“Fine Gael in Government in recent years has made capital investment
in education a priority, even during the tough economic times we are
now emerging from. Special education needs is also an area of growing
concern for parents in Duleek, and other parts of Meath East, and
again this news represents Fine Gael in Government’s commitment to
this issue” concluded Deputy McEntee.
